上海市水文总站成立于1978年,现有高级职称9人、中级职称30人。建有国家水文勘测和水质监测站网,拥有上海市国家水文数据库及水质资料数据库。根据中央关于大部制改革的要求,市委、市政府决定上海市水务局和上海市海洋局合署办公,并对局属事业单位做出了相应调整。去年成立了上海市海洋环境监测预报中心,与市水文总站、市水环境监测中心实行三块牌子、一套班子,是市水务局(市海洋 Shanghai hydrological station was established in 1978, the existing 9 senior titles, 30 intermediate grade. Built a national hydrological survey and water quality monitoring station network, with the Shanghai National Hydrological Database and water quality data base. According to the requirements of the central government regarding the reform of the majority system, the municipal government decided to set up offices of the Shanghai Water Authority and the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Ocean Affairs and made corresponding adjustments to their subordinate institutions. Last year, the Shanghai Marine Environment Monitoring and Forecasting Center was set up and implemented with three brands and a set of teams with the Municipal Hydrographic Station and the Municipal Water Environment Monitoring Center.
