西线景区西线景区,即是以五台山台怀镇核心景区以西南至茹村盆地的中段,形成了大约50公里长度的地质景观。这一区域处于地质学家指认的滹沱群,地层中发现世界上已知最古老的真核生物化石记录。它们出现于豆村亚群内,约19个属31个种的微古生物,多为单球形和多球形的原核单细胞生物。其中大直径的球形个体和形态呈三角形、多角形和船形藻类化
Western scenic spots west of the scenic area, that is, the center of Wutai Taihuai town to the southwest to Ru village basin in the middle, forming a geological landscape of about 50 km length.
