Terminology translation has always been one of the most challenging translation efforts. The majority of Chinese names of animals and plants are transcribed and translated from Latin and most are renamed and translated based on the lexical characteristics of Chinese context and Chinese. These terms in the source Latin are based on the scientific characteristics and habitats of plants, families and genera named. There is also a division of genus and genus in Chinese, and the Chinese translation is based on Chinese culture and customs combined with rhetoric, in line with the habits of Chinese readers. However, the translation of these terms from Chinese or English to other languages is a feature of grammatical construction that needs to be filtered and analyzed in both translation and source languages. Failure to notice the characteristics of different languages may also be due to the limited English proficiency of the translator, as is the translation error. This is also a factor that the terminology-based, multilingual translator needs to be aware of.
