体育新闻报道不仅能通过传播体育知识丰富大众的体育认知,还能在大众体育文化意识的形成过程中发挥不容忽视的引导作用,从而有效提升大众参与体育运动的积极性,并推动我国新闻事业与体育事业的协同发展。但另一方面,似是而非、片面解读的体育新闻报道也会导致大众产生错误的体育认知并对大众的体育道德产生误导。因此,完善体育新闻报道的把关机制、强化体育新闻工作者的自律意识、提升受众的信息分辨能力,是确保体育新闻报道对大众体育意识产生正面引导作用的关键。
