本症首先由英国医生 Langdan-Down(1866)作为精神簿弱的特殊类型提出,后来 Fraser 和 Me-tchell(1876)作了补充。1887年,Langdon-Down又发表了专论。从此引起学者们的重视,逐渐积累了大量资料。特别是近几年来,对本症的发病原因、诊断技术、治疗方法等的研究,已取得一些成果,更兼有些作者认为,本症近来有逐渐增多的倾向,因此我们现将一个典型症例提出报告,以供参考。
The disease was first proposed by the British physician Langdan-Down (1866) as a special type of mental disorder, which was later supplemented by Fraser and Mechetchell (1876). In 1887, Langdon-Down published another monograph. Since then, scholars have drawn great attention and gradually accumulated a large amount of information. Especially in recent years, the cause of the disease, diagnostic techniques, treatment methods, research has achieved some results, but also some authors believe that the disease has a tendency to gradually increase, so we will now report a typical case ,for reference.
