工作站在专业领域广泛应用工作站作为一种独立的 IT 产品,正式出现于80年代初期,当时的工程技术人员迫切需要能提供强大的运算处理功能、交互功能和图形显示功能的计算机产品,而普通的 PC 由于性能方面的原因,没有机会被广泛运用,而工作站作为能够完成上述专业要求的计算机产品则取得了独立的地位和飞速的发展。如今,随着工作站在 CAD/CAM、计算机动画与仿真、科学数据分析处理甚至虚拟显示等专业领域的广泛应用,工作站市场日益呈现出旺盛的需求。目前光主要的工作站厂商就有十多家,而康柏公司以其全面的产品线、优异的性能、对用户需求的重视以及与其合作伙伴的紧密合作赢得了用户的青睐。
