活脱脱的螃蟹、下围棋的螳螂、白玉无瑕的苦瓜……一块块平淡无奇的牛皮,在叶发原手里,化作了缤纷热闹的生命组合,“真”得叫人惊叹!原本是田径场上矫健的好手,却因世俗眼光而放弃往体专就读的好机会,选择职校电机科系习一技之长;却又因一小张皮革启动工艺的灵思,放弃安稳的工作,潜入皮革创作的天地。这就是我走进皮革工艺的传奇过程。与众不同,一鸣惊人那一年,我26岁,在大姐的装潢公司帮忙。一日,瞧见公司里有一小块用剩的皮革,不知怎的直觉它可以做一把小吉他,便拿起美工刀雕塑成了一把10厘米左右的可爱吉他,上面有弦、还有调音钮,惟妙惟肖的。我才恍然,原来自己对皮革竟有一种特殊的情感
