The authors, through the orbital approach, traversed the posterior communicating artery with a special snare and established a subarachnoid hemorrhage primate model in five baboons. Five parameters of intracranial pressure, cortical cerebral blood flow, autoregulation, CO 2 reactivity and central conduction time (CCT) were measured in three consecutive months and were difficult to accurately measure in human.
