西安医科大学第一附属医院经过40年的艰苦创业,现已发展成为今天这样一所人才济济、学科齐全、力量雄厚、设备先进、环境优美的大型综合性现代化临床医学院,其中包括医学一系、护理系、妇幼卫生系和肿瘤专科医院。现有教职员工2 467名,其中高级职称343人,中级职称594人,初级职称978人。拥有病床1463张,住院病区30个。平均年门诊量40万人次,年收治住院患者2万人次。有专业学科55个及18个临床教研室,3个研究所,3个研究中心,15个研究室和36个实验室;博士、硕士授权学科29个;承担研究生、本科生、留学生等7个层次每年900余人的教学任务,国家级、部省级192项科研课题;还担负着一些与国外联合举办的研究生班和每年
