他步伐矫健、语速很快、灰白的短发根根竖起,似乎昭示着在压力和辛劳中从未丧失的斗志。从事新闻工作20年,他担任过编辑、评论员、新闻评论部主任、新闻节目部主任、新闻中心主任、《中国之声》副总监、副台长等职务;组织参与了中央电台的多次重大改革,刷新了广播界乃至新闻界的诸多新闻报道记录;获得国家级新闻奖23个,其中中国新闻奖、中国广播影视大奖(包括其前身中国广播影视新闻奖)特别奖、一等奖项12个,荣获中直机关“十大杰出青年”和“全国青年岗位能手”称号。他就是第十一届长江韬奋奖(韬奋系列)获得者、中央人民广播电台副台长王晓晖。
