温暖多雨的日本列岛,有着丰富的生物资源。农村和山村的居民从与这些资源的自然相关中,通过长期的生活体验了关系到衣、食、住的日常生活是不言而喻的。涉及到娱乐与冠婚葬祭等生活的所有方面,直至作为农村和山村的生活文化继承的今天。但是,现在一部分资源由于日常饮食和居住等的生活方式和环境的变化而成为不需要的东西,已被丢掉了,或者,正在被忘却。 行政当局在木材的需要量减少,木材价格低等林业经营不振时,就对民有林经营者进行谋求特用林产物的振兴和行政指导。另一方面,在民间也开始为了经营的合理化和确保早期的收入及木材生产体系和新分区等的研究。特别是在中小林家,作为身旁的收入手段,开始了蘑菇、野菜等特用林产物的生产。
Warm and rainy Japanese archipelago, has a wealth of biological resources.
