蒋经国念念不忘与日本侵略者的血海深仇,具体行动之一是始终不用日货。冯沪祥说,在日货充斥台湾市场的日子里,蒋经国的家里始终看不到一件由日本生产的用品。有一次,一位外宾拜访蒋经国,送上一块日本特制的高档手表,作为见面礼物。蒋经国看后眉头一皱,但为表示礼仪,勉强收下。等客人一走,蒋经国马上命人把这块手表拿走。其决绝的态度令人惊异。
Chiang Ching-kuo never forgot his bloodthirsty relationship with the Japanese invaders. One of the specific actions has always been to use Japanese goods. On one occasion, a foreign guest visited Chiang Ching-kuo and sent a piece of high-end Japanese special watch as a gift of meeting. Chiang Ching-kuo looked frowned, but to show etiquette, reluctantly accepted. When the guests go away, Chiang Ching-kuo ordered the watch to be taken away immediately. Its attitude of decisiveness is amazing.
