1966年,彼得·斯坦豪尔出生于美国,在亚洲不同的国家工作和生活了二十多年。自1993年开始,彼得透过他的相片记录了亚洲文化的不同元素,作品在亚洲、欧洲及美国被广泛展出,在国际摄影舞台上展获殊荣。2009年,《繁华底蕴》系列作品为彼得赢得IPA国际摄影大奖;2014年,彼得以《茧》、《亚洲市集》及《Singapore Number Blocks》系列作品赢得Lucie国际摄影大赛的七个奖项。另外,彼得·斯坦豪尔还获得2009年的PX3巴黎摄影奖;
In 1966 Peter Steinhauer was born in the United States, working and living in different countries in Asia for more than two decades. Since 1993, Peter has documented the different elements of Asian culture through his photographs. His works have been widely exhibited in Asia, Europe and the United States, and have won awards on the international photography scene. Peter won the IPA International Photography Awards in 2009 for his collection; in 2014, Peter won seven awards for the Lucie International Photography Competition in the series “Cocoon,” “Asian Markets,” and “Singapore Number Blocks.” In addition, Peter Steinhauer also won the PX3 Paris Photography Awards 2009;
