电信作为社会的重要基础设施和国民经济的生产要素,日益广泛地被世界各国政府所重视。电信的根本作用在于把社会生产、分配、交换和消费等环节有机地联系起来,使社会活动节奏加快,效率提高。当今世界电信技术正以惊人的速度发展着,新技术、新业务层出不穷。目前,电信的发展将以能提供随时随地进行话音、数据与图像三者任意结合的服务为目标。从世界范围看,电信的战略地位已经确立,电信事业正在蓬勃发展。
As an important social infrastructure and the production factor of the national economy, telecommunications are increasingly valued by governments of all countries in the world. The fundamental role of telecommunications lies in organically linking social production, distribution, exchange and consumption, accelerating the pace of social activities and improving efficiency. Today’s telecommunications technology in the world is developing at an alarming rate, new technologies, new business after another. Currently, the development of telecommunications will be targeted at providing any combination of voice, data and image anywhere, anytime. From a global perspective, the strategic position of telecommunications has been established and the telecommunications industry is booming.
