Underground water pipes buried in cast iron often cause cracking and leakage due to corrosion, temperature changes, and external forces. In the past, the method of repairing water leakage from tap water pipes was generally made of metal and “clamp sleeves” (cast iron or wrought iron) stuck in the broken part of the pipe body, and both ends were marked with gray or lead. When the socket part is broken, the socket is jammed with a “big head card screen.” If the rupture site is long and the specifications of the clips are not complete, the ruptured water pipe must be cut off and replaced with a new one. These methods not only require heavy operations and labor intensity, but also have to store a wide variety of spare parts. What’s more important is that because the repair time is longer, the time for shutting off the water for shutting the gate is prolonged, and the effect is severe.
