龙美术馆、喜玛拉雅美术馆、先锋当代艺术中心、苏珈美术馆、新天祥美术馆、凤凰艺都美术馆、经典美术馆、华侨城当代艺术中心西安馆……从2012年底开始,在一两年的时间里,国内各地涌现出又一批新的民营美术馆。上世纪90年代,成都上河美术馆、天津泰达美术馆等被视为第一波民营美术馆浪潮;2002、2003年前后成立的北京今日美术馆、犀锐艺术中心、上海多伦美术馆、上海证大现代艺术馆等是第二波浪潮的主要代表。
