代行人民代表大会职权的陕西省首届人民代表会议胜利闭幕了,这标志着全省人民的空前大团结,表示着人民民主统一战线进一步的巩固与扩大。代表着全陕西一千三百余万人的各族各界的代表们,在团结和谐,民主协商的气氛中,经过了十天的热烈讨论,通过了陕西省土地改革和一般工作任务的报告,审查与通过了陕西省一九五零年财政收支概算,并民主选举出陕西省人民政府主席、副主席及委员;选举出陕西省人民代表会议协商委员会主席、副主席及委员,把人民民主专政向前推进了一步。
The successful conclusion of the first People’s Representative Conference of Shaanxi Province, which took the authority of the People’s Congress, marked the unprecedented unification of the entire people in the province and marked the further consolidation and expansion of the people’s democratic united front. Deputies from all walks of life, representing more than 13 million people in Shaanxi Province, warmly discussed the issue of land reform and general tasks in Shaanxi Province in an atmosphere of unity, harmony and democratic consultation. Reviewed and approved the budget estimates for the fiscal year of 1950 in Shaanxi Province and democratically elected the chairmen, vice-chairmen and members of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government; elected the chairman, vice-chairmen and members of the Consultative Committee of Shaanxi Provincial People’s Congress and democratically elected people The dictatorship has taken a step forward.
