拙作《渴望》是笔者95年底,从山野中采挖的一棵赤楠树种。在对侧枝、挡面枝略作处理和稍作蟠扎之后,便成为一盆三干相依相伴相随的自然式桩景。视觉中,给人一种由左向右被风吹拂的动态之势,参差陋拙,残缺虬曲的主干在苔藓的铺垫之下,对主题的突出和深化,起到了烘托与渲染的作用。笔者原意将景名题为“生命依然”或“沧桑历尽”。但在品味之余,觉得虽也贴切如实,却又过于直露。此桩显而易见地使人想到它在山野之时,或曾被刀砍,被火烧,被虫蛀,被风侵雨蚀过的劫难。在再三斟酌之后还是以为题名《渴望》更为贴切。一是给人们在视觉中
