从历史的角度来看,道德、市场、政府等都在协调经济利益中起到过重要作用;但每一种协调手段又都有其历史局限性。我们根据新的时代背景和经济现实重新描述了一个经济环境,以此把传媒作为重要的手段引入到协调经济利益的理论框架中来。传媒作为信息传播的重要手段在改变人的行为和信息状态上具有重要的影响力,传媒可以通过对行为、信息和监督机制的影响来协调行为主体之间的利益冲突,实现个体利益与社会利益的一致性。具体而言,传媒通过改善信息的不对称性、规范性和可识别性减少了行为的不确定性和非理性,通过影响信息的传递范围、方向和速度平衡了信息分布状态和提高信息传播效率,通过新闻报道、议程设置和不当行为曝光形成公共舆论压力监督了政府行为和市场秩序。
