维多利亚前期(本文主要指19世纪中叶)的中产阶级妇女被冠以“家庭天使”的美誉,束之高阁,脱离社会,完全依赖于男人。然而从这时起她们也开始走进社会。慈善活动成为她们步入社会的桥梁。本文力图通过对中产阶级妇女慈善活动的概况、特点、意义的论述,来阐明中产阶级妇女慈善活动的历史重要性。
In the pre-Victorian period (mainly referring to the middle of the 19th century), middle-class women were honored with the title of “family angel”. They were shelved from society and completely dependent on men. However, from this moment on, they also started to enter the community. Charity activities become a bridge between them into society. This article tries to clarify the historical importance of middle-class women’s charity activities through the overview, characteristics and significance of middle-class women’s charity activities.
