一、概述:以计算机技术为核心的图书馆自动化目前已进入全球性的网络化资源共享阶段。由于我国计算机工业的发展水平、图书情报经费的投资、以及图书情报机构的实际状况均与世界发达国家存在很大的差异,必须结合我国的国情,探索一条实现图书情报工作现代化的切实可行的途径。中国图书馆学会学术工作委员会现代化研究组于1985年12月召开的电子计算机在图书馆应用学术讨论会纪要中指出:我国图书馆界在计算机应用方面开展了多方面的开发和研究工作,但由于缺乏统一组织领导和全面的规划,各单位在购置设备、编制软件、建立文献数据库等方面都存在很大的盲目性,信息交流不够,大多进行低水平的重复开发,浪费现象比较严重。研究也只有个别图书馆在个别项目中达到实际应用水平,多数都处于试验阶段。所以至今绝大多数图
