新闻信息类法制节目是电视新闻的一个分支。它在真实、客观的基础上,迅速、简洁、广泛地报道国内外新近发生、发现或正在发生、发现的法制事件,旨在展示法治新动向、宣传法治新理念,可简称为法制信息。对我国政治、经济、文化等各种领域关涉法律的消息报道,都可以划归为法制信息。如对国家新的立法及其实施的报道,对各种法制事件、普法活动的展示等等。在当今的电视新闻消息中,法制信息所占的比例日渐增大,以其独特的节目魅力吸引着受众的“眼球”。
