斯堪的纳维亚在地理上是指斯堪的纳维亚半岛,包括挪威和瑞典,文化与政治上也包括丹麦,这些国家彼此视对方属于斯堪的纳维亚。虽然他们政治互相独立,但共同的称谓显示了他们的文化和历史有着深远的渊源。从远古的维京战船,到今天的诺基亚、沃尔沃等国际品牌,斯堪的纳维亚的实用简约设计不仅征服了欧洲,也征服了世界。著名的汽车品牌沃尔沃就是其中鲜明的代表,它以坚实的品质和优异的性能在世界上享有很高声誉,特别是在安全系统方面。而斯堪的纳维亚传统的航海精神也从古至今流传下来。
Scandinavia geographically refers to the Scandinavian Peninsula, including Norway and Sweden, cultural and political as well as Denmark, which belong to each other in Scandinavia. Although their politics are independent of each other, the common title shows their far-reaching origins in culture and history.
