桃冲铁矿自生产以来,一直采用留有二次破碎格筛巷道,漏斗装车的底部结构。该方式出矿效率低,劳动强度大,安全条件差,矿柱所占的矿量比例大。1964年在矿党委的领导下,实行领导干部、工人、技术人员三结合,根据本矿具体条件,经过反复实践,成功地使用了无漏斗底柱和装岩机装矿,使采矿强度和矿房出矿能力大为加大,劳动生产率大幅度提高,作业人员的劳动强度大大降低,安全条件得以改善,并减小了底柱所占的矿量比例,很受工人欢迎。目前,这种方法已在全矿全面推广使用。
