浙江省湖州市箍桶(?)大队种子场,采用单本插,加快水稻原(良)种繁殖,不仅产量高,而且繁殖速度快。使少、好、新品种尽快用到大田生产中去,发挥良种的增产作用。他们用一斤早稻种子一季可繁殖一百八十到二百八十斤,用一斤晚稻种子,一季可繁殖一百到一百五十斤。该场从一九七五年开始,已繁育早晚稻原(良)种三万三千一百多斤,种子纯度高、质量好,都达到原(良)种的标准。他们的做法:
