In January 2004, researchers at the center published a written comment on the evaluation of Chinese historiography in the 20th century. How to evaluate the gains and losses of Chinese historiography in the 20th century is a hot issue in academic circles at present. There are not only many different opinions but also some controversial issues. Center researchers published the first issue of Journal of Zhengzhou University on January 25, 2004 with the theme of ”20th Century Chinese Historiography: Review
