背景:载脂蛋白B(apoB)是低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)一种重要的结构成分,并且在LDL-C的转运和清除中起着关键作用。期望通过减少apoB的合成来降低循环中LDL-C,后者为心血管疾病的已知危险因素。
BACKGROUND: Apolipoprotein B (apoB) is an important structural component of low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and plays a key role in the transport and clearance of LDL-C. It is expected that circulating LDL-C will be reduced by reducing apoB synthesis, a known risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
