Over the past hundred years, a total of seven ethnic minority writers in Britain and the United States have won the Nobel Prize for Literature, which is close to 40% of the total number of winners. Based on the family backgrounds and educational experiences of these ethnic minority writers, this essay analyzes their literary themes and creative perspectives, and sorts out and compares their similarities and differences in literary creation. Minority writers have won the Nobel Prize Committee’s recognition frequently, reflecting their unique advantages in creative themes, creative skills and literary perspectives in a certain sense, and also reflect the value orientation of the Nobel Committee in the Nobel Prize selection. It also shows that mankind is facing a more inclusive attitude to the relations between different ethnic groups and cultures.
