(一)前言在我国劳动人民的长期农业生产实践中,创造了农桐间作新的栽培形式。这种新的栽培形式,适应我国自然气候条件,符合我国农业生产的特点,是一种以林护农、农林结合共同发展的一个新途径。目前,这种农桐间作已在我国北方许多地区大量发展。农桐间作是一种以桐树为上层,农作物为下层的人工栽培群落。它既能发挥树木改造自然、保护生态平衡的有益作用,又能给农作物生产创造稳产、高产的有利条件,并能获得农林双丰收。尤其在我国干旱少雨、风沙灾害较为严重的地区,这种人工栽培群落更加具有重要意义。在农桐间作人工栽培群落中,桐树和农作物构成一个新的有机体。群落内的光照、水分、温度、物质交换和养分循环等,将产生新的变化。这种变化反过来对农作物和桐树的生长又
