针对甘薯大田生产中茎叶徒长使茎叶与块根争夺养分矛盾加剧,直接影响甘薯产量的现象,利用甘薯秧苗生物极性中等,且秧苗发根为不定根、正栽倒栽均易成活的特性,采用倒栽技术,前期促不定根健壮发育,中期促茎蔓分枝,有效缓解倒栽个体发育与群体发展的矛盾,减轻甘薯冠层郁闭,从根本上解决其茎叶生长问题。试验表明,倒栽比正栽分枝多、蔓短,块根鲜重日增长速度明显高于正栽,其叶面积指数长期保持在3.5左右,不会超过徒长界限4,结薯早,封垄晚,块根第二次膨大高峰较正栽出现早,后期无早衰现象,叶片先合功能期延长,经济效益显著,一般可增产鲜薯15—20%。
