In order to implement the strategy for speeding up the construction of small cities and towns proposed by the Third Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Yu Zhengsheng, Ye Rutong, Zhao Baojiang, Liu Zhifeng, and Zheng Kunsheng, will be responsible for the personnel of relevant departments of the Ministry of Construction in mid-November. They went to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, and Guangdong to investigate the construction of small towns. The survey will focus on three aspects. First, the basic situation of the construction of small cities and towns in various regions, including the current number, scale, development speed, and economic and social status of small towns, planning and design work of small towns, housing, and infrastructure.
