于1987~1989年在苏州黄泥土菜田和粮田上设置试验。结果表明,施用一定量城市生活污泥对土壤有机质、土壤腐殖化程度、土壤结构性等均有明显的提高和改善,效果优于猪、牛粪。污泥对土壤残留氮累积、残留水解氮增加,以及全磷与速效磷含量均有明显的效果。施用污泥能显著促进土壤代谢强度,表现在土壤呼吸强度提高,微生物总量及放线菌所占比例大增,但对土壤固氮菌影响较小,而对硝化菌、反硝化菌有较大影响。合理施用符合控制标准的污泥有利于提高土壤肥力水平。
