1995年10月,是安徽太和人值得骄傲的日子,中华人民共和国文化部命名安徽省太和县为“中国书画艺术之乡”。太和历史悠久,文化灿烂,披泽建安遗韵,藏有清代著名书法理论家梁献的墨宝,出土有西汉时的三足石砚,还孕育了自汉代以来名人志士倪宽、范滂、徐广缙、刘之协等。沧桑岁月与深厚的文化底蕴培养出重文、重艺的传统与纯朴儒雅的民风,书画艺术鼎盛不衰,蔚然成风。
October 1995 was the proud day for Taihe people in Anhui Province.
