最近,在《学校体育》杂志和其它一些体育刊物上都可以看到许多关于学校体育或体育教学目的的争鸣文章,其中多有精辟之见,倍受教益。论者们围绕着学校体育目的是什么的论题,从历史、从国情、从方针政策、从世界潮流,各述己见,百家争鸣。记得其中有一个非常重要的观点就是:学校体育只能以增强学生体质为目的,“体育就是体质教育”(我们把这种观点称之为“体质教育论”)。对于这一观点,要从所学的教育理论来看,我实在不敢苟同。但静想一下我们过去和现在的“国情”,我又不能不承认这一观点实在、强有力,具有必然性。在此我不想对
Recently, many competing articles on school sports or physical education teaching can be found in School Sports and other sports publications, many of which are brilliant and entertaining. Theorists revolve around the topic of what the purpose of school sports is, from history, from the national conditions, from principles and policies, from the world trend, everybody’s own opinion, and a hundred schools of thought. I remember one of the most important point is: school sports can only enhance the physical fitness for the purpose of “physical education is physical education” (we call this view of “physical education theory”). For this view, from what I have learned from the educational theory, I really can not agree. However, once we reconsider our “national conditions” of the past and present, I can not but admit that this view is real, powerful and inevitable. I do not want to be right here
