矮壮素在棉花上施用,增产效果明显。据试验,矮壮素喷株处理增产9.6—14.6%。喷矮壮素,不但能高产,而且还能继续提高种植密度。在高水肥高密度条件下,不喷矮壮素,以每亩1.5万株产量最高,比对照每亩1万株增产5.4%;喷矮壮素后,每亩密度1.8万、2万、2.5万株的,分别比对照增产14.6%、12.4%、13.4%。试验表明,密度每亩1.5万株,喷矮壮素后,平均单株结铃5个,蕾铃脱落率44%,霜前花率
