樊:这本书的大陆版不久将由人民文学出版社印出,我们算是先睹为快吧。杨义写的序言开宗明义就说:“书名‘图志’,是我们探索写文学史的一种新的形式”;采用这种形式,“仿佛发现了文学史世界一片有待开发的肥沃的新大陆”。此书的启迪意义正在这里。我们至今写出的现代文学史已达二百种之多了,有人不是形容说是数千人在一块狭窄的学科领地上挤挤撞撞吗?若从那些大同小异的史书来看,倒也不无道理。但实际上,现代文学研究不仅存在不少空白,已经涉及的课题也有待深化。《图志》有新的视角,新的天地,它说明,我们以往的研究不管达到怎样的高度,还是可以突破和超越的。
