The authors studied the late effects of panretinal photocoagulation on the iris, atrioventricular angiogenesis and neovascular glaucoma in diabetic patients. A total of 184 patients with diabetic proliferative retinopathy were treated with ruby laser between 1967 and 1971. Only 1 Retinal eye disease treatment, contralateral eye without treatment as a control, at least observed for 5 years. A total of 93 cases were reviewed.
