Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are a class of transmembrane receptors that are homologous to the toll protein of the Drosophila and expressed on the cell membrane in conjunction with the immune system’s identification of microorganisms that recognize various pathogens, initiate innate immune responses, and activate acquired The immune system plays an important role in anti-infective immunity. Infectious disease is one of the most important neonatal diseases and also the leading cause of death in newborns. Recent studies have shown that Toll-like receptors are involved in the pathogenesis of neonatal infectious diseases and are associated with neonatal neonatal asphyxia, Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, necrotizing enterocolitis, intrauterine infection, etc. are closely related.
