一首《回家》,让大江南北的人们都熟识了萨克斯这种乐器。萨克斯是“萨克斯风”(Saxophone)的简称,它诞生于19世纪40年代的欧洲,由比利时人阿道夫·萨克斯发明,它的名称就因这位发明者的名字而来。萨克斯的管体通常用黄铜制造,使得萨克斯具有铜管类乐器的音色。有意思的是,它却如同单簧管、长笛一样属于木管乐器家族。在声音的力度上,萨克斯可与其他铜管乐器媲美,强弱幅度大,既能表现木管乐器的音色特点,又带有金属乐器的明亮度。因此,它成为很多作曲家的宠儿,在交响乐队中有着“万金油”的美誉。
