The results of regional experiment of high and medium-fat winter wheat from 1997 to 1998 in Shanxi Province were analyzed. The fertility and stability of newly-grown cultivars, their utilization value and the suitable planting range were clarified, and the breeding target of water breeding was preliminarily discussed
