本文报道一例患者由于患间日疟而使细胞毒类药物治疗发生麻烦。作者认为疟疾的出现系因免疫被抑制而促发。1例18岁的男孩,活检证实为左髂骨Ewing氏肉瘤而被送到英国作进一步治疗。在巴基斯坦,患者仅接受放射治疗,未曾输过血。在儿童时期患者曾发过数次疟疾,最后一次是在8岁。医院检查结果证实肿瘤局限
This article reports that one patient had trouble with cytotoxic drugs because of the presence of Plasmodium falciparum. The author believes that the emergence of malaria is caused by the inhibition of immunity. A 18-year-old boy who was biopsied for left-iliac Ewing’s sarcoma was sent to the United Kingdom for further treatment. In Pakistan, patients received only radiotherapy and had no blood transfusion. In childhood, the patient had had several malaria episodes and the last was at 8 years of age. Hospital examination confirmed the limitations of the tumor
