2008年9月初,第二代Mazda6以中文名“睿翼”开启在中国的腾飞之旅。睿翼是智慧之车,是腾飞之车。新名称的发布标志着国产化工作开始进入倒计时阶段,也标志着一汽马自达的事业迈进全新时代。睿翼的设计理念是“进化的ZOOM-ZOOM”。它延续了第一代Mazda6卓越的运动性能和高科技的形象,并在此基础上,融入了更便利、更安全、更环保的设计理念,致力于打造一款杜绝交通事故的车辆。睿翼将于09年初上市,首批上市车型排量为2 5升,定位于中高级轿车高端,价格在20万元以上。
