共青团忻州地委、忻州地区农牧局、山西省农科院玉米研究所,在1987年。组织青年科技示范户,应用推广农业新技术”活动的基础上,1988年又在全区农村青年中组织发起了.科技之春“活动。这次活动的目的,主要是配合落实忻州地区的农业生产计划,促进农业新技术在农村的传播,振兴农村经济。通过活动,全区涌现出青年科技示范户I万户,科技示范村300个,应用推广了农业新按术57项,带动全区22万农村青年每人掌握了1一2项新的技术。全区评出先进集体20个,先进示范村20个,优秀示范户50户.
