1984年10~11月,我市某中等专业学校发生一起食物型福氏痢疾暴发流行。该校教工食堂201人就餐,学生食堂608人(女生占91.6%)就餐。两食堂相距约25m,在离教工食堂20m,学生食堂30m处有一厕所。教工食堂凭票就餐。学生食堂则自10月17日起把凭票就餐改为逐桌摆放饭菜后,以班、组为单位集体开饭,摆放的食物无防蝇设施,顺序由厨房远侧台桌至近侧台桌,暴露时间30~40分钟。10月27日中午观察学生食堂内苍蝇为:厨房远侧的桌有苍蝇10~22只,近侧的桌有苍蝇4~9只。
