Preface At present, researchers in the field of gravity sorting of magnetic fluids have adopted ferrofluids. Such a magnetic fluid is a suspension in which magnetite or other fine ferrite particles (particle size 100-150A) are surface-treated with a surfactant and stably dispersed in the liquid phase.
