华纳正式进入我国影院市场 经中国政府批准,美国在线-时代华纳下属的华纳兄弟影院公司在中国的首家合资影院——上海“永华电影城”于7月12日正式宣布。是日,华纳兄弟影院公司总裁米拉德·欧克斯与上海电影集团公司总裁任仲伦一起拉下了盖在“永华电影城”铭牌上的红色幕布,并举行了开业庆典。目前中国内地的合资电影院有20家以上,唯有永华电影城是好莱坞影业巨头与中国合资的影院。
Warner officially entered the theater market in China Approved by the Chinese government, AOL, Shanghai’s “Yonghua Film City,” was formally announced on July 12 by AOL Time Warner’s Warner Bros. Theater Company, the first joint venture in China. On the same day, Warner Bros. Theater President Mirad Oaks and Shanghai Film Corporation President Ren Zhonglun pulled down the red curtain covering the nameplate of “Yonghua Film City” and held the opening ceremony. At present there are more than 20 joint-venture cinemas in mainland China, and only Yonghua Cinema is a joint venture between Hollywood studios and China.
