目的观察原发于眼眶的脑膜瘤组织病理学特征,了解眼眶脑膜瘤的生物学行为。方法收集北京武警总医院眼眶病研究所19例眼眶脑膜瘤标本,对其进行HE染色及波形蛋白(Vimentin)、上皮性膜抗原(EMA)、Ki-67、p53的免疫组织化学染色。结果眼眶脑膜瘤的组织形态以内皮型、过渡型、纤维型为主。Vimentin表达率为94.75%(18/19),EMA表达率仅为52.63%(10/19),Ki-67、p53表达率较低,且p53与Ki-67表达不一致。结论眼眶脑膜瘤组织形态比较单一,主要为内皮型、过渡型、纤维型,而砂粒体型等亚型少见。与颅内脑膜瘤相比,眶内脑膜瘤EMA表达率较低。Ki-67和p53在良性、复发性及恶性之间表达无明显差异。(中华眼科杂志,2006,42998-1001)
Objective To observe the histopathological features of meningioma in orbit and to understand the biological behavior of orbital meningiomas. Methods Nineteen orbital meningiomas were collected from Orbital Diseases Institute of Beijing Armed Police General Hospital. HE staining and immunohistochemical staining of vimentin, epithelial membrane antigen (EMA), Ki-67 and p53 were performed. Results Orbital meningiomas with endothelial, transitional and fibrous forms. The expression rate of Vimentin was 94.75% (18/19), the expression rate of EMA was only 52.63% (10/19), the expression of Ki-67 and p53 was low, and the expression of p53 and Ki-67 were not consistent. Conclusions Orbital meningiomas have a single, mainly endothelial, transitional, and fibrous subtype with sub-types of sand body. Compared with intracranial meningioma, EMA expression in orbital meningiomas is low. Ki-67 and p53 expression in benign, recurrent and malignant no significant difference.
