近年来,VSAT在移动电话网络的拓展中发挥了重要的作用。无论是Intelsat,SES New Skies这样的全球卫星服务提供商,还是iPSTAR这样的区域卫星服务提供商,都将移动电话网络的卫星回传业务作为各自战略发展的重点方向;而ViaSat,iDirect,Comtech E.F.Data等卫星系统和设备提供商,则不失时机地推出了自己的移动电话网络的卫星回传业务产品。因此,了解和探讨国外这一业务的现状,对于我国VSAT产业的深入发展,将起到一定的启示作用。
In recent years, VSAT has played an important role in the expansion of mobile phone networks. Both global satellite service providers such as Intelsat and SES New Skies and regional satellite service providers such as iPSTAR make the satellite return service of mobile phone networks the focus of their respective strategic development. ViaSat, iDirect, Comtech EF Data and other satellite systems and equipment providers, then seize the opportunity to launch its own mobile phone network satellite backhaul products. Therefore, to understand and explore the status quo of this business abroad will play a certain enlightenment role for the in-depth development of China’s VSAT industry.
