建构主义理论认为学习者是认知的主体,是知识意义的主动建构者。其学习环境包括“情境、协作、会话和意义建构”四大要素。以学习者为中心,教师利用情境、协作、会话等学习环境要素促进学生的自主学习和协作探索,以实现意义建构的最终目标。建构主义理论的精髓对当今大学英语多媒体教学来说具有重要的指导意义。两者结合,可以使大学英语多媒体教学模式在创设情境、充分发挥学生的主动性、开展交互式学习等方面做得更好。
Constructivism theory holds that learner is the main body of cognition and the active constructor of knowledge meaning. The learning environment includes the four elements of “context, collaboration, conversation and meaning construction.” With learners as the center, teachers use contextual, collaborative, conversational and other learning environment elements to promote students’ autonomous learning and collaborative exploration in order to achieve the ultimate goal of meaning construction. The essence of constructivism theory is of great guiding significance to the present college English multimedia teaching. The combination of the two can make college English multimedia teaching model better in creating situations, giving full play to students’ initiative and carrying out interactive learning.
