The outstanding Soviet composer Mikaskovski (1881.4-1950.8) may be unfamiliar to our music listeners, but his contribution to the development of Soviet music and his place in the music scene of the Soviet Union No less than Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich and some other famous musicians.
